resonant bodies series
This series of works delves into the vibrational essence of the natural world. A musical instrument or everyday object is stimulated with energy to make its intrinsic vibrations audible or visible. Thus, this otherwise imperceptible activity manifests in the physical space—without using digital simulations—and becomes the primary material in the piece.
By giving voice to the hidden vitality that inhabits all physical bodies, these pieces reveal that music exists inside “things.” They dig into the profound link between matter's inner traits and behaviors, and the very existence of music and other human expressions.
delirious fields series
Delirious Fields is a series of artworks that explore the interactions between our tangible surroundings and the imperceptible forces that govern the natural world. These works use electromagnetism to activate objects performing generative choreographies. The series delves into the relationship between chance and self-organizing phenomena in nature. Within an apparent randomness, underlying expressive patterns emerge from the distribution of elements in each piece.

music on a bound string series
This series of works evokes string musical instruments. Each installation includes one or more sculptures consisting of a string held between two points. A loudspeaker emits an inaudible signal that travels through the string, making sound visible. Thus, the sculptures become visible-sound-emitting instruments, performing musically-conceived visual narratives.
Most of these pieces are silent. Instead of using audible sound as the composition’s primary material, visible waves are manipulated to exploit parameters commonly assigned to music, such as rhythm, texture, density, and time.

interpretative music series
These works adopt the installation format and interactivity to find alternative ways of presenting and experiencing music. Considering that musical ideas are perceived differently when a person composes, listens, or performs, these works exchange the usual roles present in concert music. The score is also the instrument; the instrument is played by the spectator; the spectator becomes performer; the performer is co-author; the author does not generate the piece; the piece is generated by the instrument.
The series promotes the public's active participation. Visitors engage their intuition and creativity through their interpretation of a musical piece.Connected by that distinctive kind of interface that we call musical expression, spectator, machine, and composer cooperate in producing personalized and ever-changing music.
